About the project:

The winner of the ‘Energy’ category goes to Flylogix who has developed a long-range UAS to measure methane gas in a safer and more cost-effective way. With commitments to reduce emissions of methane gas by 30% made at COP26, Flylogix addresses the critical problem of accurately measuring and quantifying emissions, in particular in offshore and remote environments. The technology enables the accurate baselining, monitoring and reduction of methane emissions.

What Airwards Judges said:

This is a very impressive and well-articulated use case with important environmental benefits. I was impressed with the positive engagement with key industry stakeholders to forward the use of the larger UAS in airspace and to share advancements in the technology as well as the proposed expansion of service delivery to other sectors.
