About the project:
The winner in the 'Medical and Healthcare' category is AerialMetric, who provide the delivery of essential medicines, contraceptives and vaccines, as well as pick-up of biological sample for diagnosis - making incredible waves in medical delivery using drones. This work has close to 1,000 deliveries successfully performed to the most remote/secluded areas of Northern Madagascar over the last 2 years. With support from organisations such as the Bill & Melinda Foundation and WHO/AFRO, they participate directly to the polio eradication efforts.
